  • Oversee SUD Outpatient Staffing Expansion initiative and quality improvement efforts within the 10 H+H SUD Clinics and five OTPs
  • Implement SUD/OTP patient-centered clinic workflows to enhance quality of services rendered
  • Oversee H+H SUD service recruitment, including Peer Counselors, Clinicians (Social Workers, Addiction Counselors, and Mental Health Counselors), Administrative Staff, and Medical Providers
  • Facilitate SUD/OTP Clinic workgroup meetings, including agenda setting around recruitment efforts, workflow and billing enhancement, and SUD Access to Care progression
  • Oversee SUD Outpatient Staffing Expansion initiative related data, reporting out to internal/external stakeholders
  • Develop and track SUD Outpatient Staffing Expansion related metrics, informing quality improvement
  • Support SUD/OTP Clinic budget modification requests, working closely with the OBH Director of Fiscal Affairs to facilitate requests
  • Collaborate with SUD/OTP Clinical/Administrative leads and CO Revenue Cycle to optimize billing workflows and revenue
  • Support SUD/OTP Clinic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) requests, collaborating with EMR (EPIC) analysts and clinic leads to assist with go-live
  • Provide coaching to SUD/OTP clinic staff around programmatic, EMR, and billing workflows to assist in service optimization
  • Participate in behavioral health/SUD departmental and interdepartmental meetings
  • Provide project management support on additional SUD projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor or departmental leadership
  • All other duties as needed
Minimum Qualifications1. A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare, Hospital, Public or Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior or a related discipline and three (3) years of full-time experience planning, developing and monitoring programs, systems and/or procedures in support of administrative management initiatives, one (1) year of which must have been in a responsible managerial or supervisory capacity; or2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in 1 above and four (4) years of full-time experience, as outlined in 1 above, two (2) years of which must have been in a responsible managerial or supervisory capacity; or3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.Department PreferencesKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
  • Hospital organization, administration and standards, regulations and laws applicable to hospital operations. Knowledge of principles of business and personnel administration, management functions and support service functions
  • Project management experience
  • Possession of a valid license and current registration to practice in a mental health field issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) preferred
