TYPE OF POSITION/EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY: Full-Time, Administrator DEPARTMENT: Experiential Learning SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm REMOTE WORK ELIGILITY: NoTRAVEL: Occasional - Travel with students.HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: 35 hours/week and 52 weeks/year FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Salaried GENERAL PURPOSE The Assistant Director of Experiential Learning and Community Engagement will work collaboratively with the Director to expand and enhance the University's community engagement initiatives. This role involves developing collaborative partnerships with community organizations, supporting faculty in integrating community engagement into their curricula, providing support and oversight for existing programs, and confidently representing the University in various public events. The Assistant Director will also play a key role in managing and assessing community engagement efforts, ensuring that they align with the University's mission and strategic goals.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Foster and maintain partnerships with community organizations, focusing on the exchange of knowledge and resources that benefit both the university and the community.
- Support and manage community engagement programs, working closely with the Program Coordinator to ensure alignment with university goals. Provide guidance and supervision to graduate assistants and student workers. Assess program outcomes and coordinate necessary improvements.
- Coordinate with appropriate departments to market the success of community-engaged learning initiatives to the campus community and external audiences through social media and other outreach efforts.
- Contribute to managing budgets related to community engagement programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support program success.
- Collaborate on developing and implementing faculty workshops related to experiential learning and partnerships with community organization, ensuring that faculty have the tools and skills necessary for effective community engagement.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 5 years of work related experience
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Databases

SALARY INFORMATIONWhen determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring annual salary for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. This annual salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
