Detailed Description:The Assistant Director of Athletics for Marketing, Fan Engagement, and Revenue Strategy is responsible for driving fan engagement and maximizing revenue across USD athletics events through outreach initiatives, promotional campaigns, market analysis, and ticket sales. The Assistant Director develops comprehensive outreach strategies, including advertising and promotions for athletics, and oversees all athletics game-day experiences. The Assistant Director supports sponsor fulfillment and revenue generation from partnerships. Additionally, the Assistant Director is responsible for all athletics digital and email marketing campaigns, physical and digital signage, grassroots marketing initiatives, and other game-related activations and fulfillment tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or public relations. Three years of experience in marketing and promotions and/or related field required. Four or more years strongly preferred. Team-oriented individual with willingness to take initiative and desire to work in collegiate athletics. Excellent written, interpersonal and communications skills required.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred. Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations strongly preferred. Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design programs desirable.
