MJHS companies are qualified employers under the Federal Government's Paid Student Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) Responsibilities:The Assistant Director of Hospice Clinical Practice is a leader for hospice and palliative care clinical operations with total accountability for successfully implementing, achieving and sustaining the MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care mission, vision, and strategic plan for quality/compliance outcomes.This Assistant Director of Hospice Clinical Practice is a nurse that leads by exuding the core values of MJHS Hospice and Palliative Care and inspires and motivates all staff to be world class . The Assistant Director reports to the Assistant Vice President of Clinical Services.Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited four-year college or university required oran equivalent combination of education and experience. Nursing, healthcare administration, business administration or related field preferred.
- BS degree in Nursing or Health related field required
- New York State RN licensure
- Minimum of five years' experience in healthcare, with three years managerial/administrative experience required.
- Hospice & palliative care experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in healthcare management, finance and interpersonal relations.
- Knowledge of current Joint Commissionaccreditation program.
