Job Description:
Lead the Eligibility Center's efforts to proactively engage the high school community regarding initial-eligibility standards and processes through data analysis and delivery of educational tactics tailored to specific geographical needs. Also lead and manage all relationship efforts including regular in person and virtual contact with key individuals in assigned regions across the United States and abroad, in order to increase awareness of the Eligibility Center's initial-eligibility registration and certification process for college-bound student-athletes.Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively lead and establish relationships with assigned partner communities, organizations and regions in alignment with the Eligibility Center's Outreach and Strategic Partnerships Integrated Annual Plan.
  • Understand unique requirements and needs of assigned regions and (in coordination with Associate Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships) assist in planning, development and implementation of communication methods specific to each assigned region.
  • Utilize data-driven approach to determine most effective outreach strategies for assigned partners/regions.
  • Engage with all Eligibility Center and NCAA National Office functional teams to identify new opportunities for collaborative outreach to NCAA colleges and universities, school districts, domestic and international high schools, and college-bound student-athletes.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international high schools and school districts to build partnerships, ensuring awareness of how to assist college-bound student-athletes and families.
  • Develop and implement outreach initiatives and gather feedback for delivering quality, helpful information and guidance to member institutions, college-bound student-athletes, school counselors, parents, coaches and other constituent groups.
  • Provide strategic input and suggestions for communications initiatives across all constituent groups.
  • Deliver presentations and maintain regular contact with key constituent groups as needed.
  • Develop content for monthly newsletters and other communications to constituent associations and the high school and coaching communities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience providing presentations in front of large groups preferred.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to connect with a broad spectrum of personality types and demonstrate excellent communication skills, including speaking and writing skills.
  • Technical knowledge in NCAA initial eligibility and NCAA legislation.
  • The Successful candidate will be a high energy individual and able to think clearly in stressful circumstances.
  • Successful candidates will be self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset and have experience thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful candidates will be experienced problem solvers and critical thinkers with a passion for helping others understand NCAA standards and being an effective facilitator for the initial-eligibility process.
