More than 100 academic programs are offered, all grounded in a long-standing commitment to collaborative, interdisciplinary, project-based learning.Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Communications, the Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Communications will assist in serving Enrollment Management for both Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions by developing and implementing marketing strategies across all marketing channels - email, SMS, print, direct mail, and display advertising. The Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Communications will leverage content marketing, digital marketing, and segmentations to optimize the user experience for students, families, school counselors, and other stakeholders. This role will also be responsible for compiling operational data and presenting this information to enrollment leadership to help support strategic decisions. The position will be expected to travel and represent the University of New Haven for college fairs, high school visits and other off-campus and on-campus events.You will:
- Responsible for managing, developing, and executing marketing initiatives within the Enrollment division.
- Creating and contributing to the development of overall communications plans and strategies.
- Facilitating enrollment marketing projects with digital assets, email, SMS, print, direct mail, and form optimization.
- Assist with managing content on the Enrollment webpages within the university website.
- Develop digital dashboards for enrollment goals, reports, and queries, and compile enrollment data to be shared regularly with enrollment leadership and the appropriate stakeholders.
- Manage the enrollment communications budget and report regular updates to the Director of Enrollment Communications.
- Create an inventory management system to be optimized by the enrollment staff for marketing publications and other assets.
- Conduct enthusiastic presentations for University events occurring while attending unique recruitment events throughout the year.
- Develop workflows and day-to-day processes to help ensure the data integrity of the CRM and data integrations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service during all University events (such as Open House, Accepted Student Day, Accepted Student Receptions, etc.).
- Represent the University of New Haven at college fairs and high school visits throughout the year.
- Provide admission counseling to prospective students and be responsible for day-to-day communications with students in person, via telephone, text or email.
- Positively promote the University of New Haven to all prospective students and families, alumni, industry colleagues, and community.
You need:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred and a minimum of 1 year of admission experience required
- Ability to represent the University of New Haven in a variety of situations with the ability to competently interact with a diverse population of prospective students, faculty, and staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products required; Sungard Banner Experience preferred; CRM system experience required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required for the travel component of the position.
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Ability to work required events on select weekend dates throughout the enrollment cycle.
- Ability to work evening and weekends, as needed.
- High level of technical skills and an equally high level of energy.
