Assistant Director of External ProgramsApply now, read the job details by scrolling down Double check you have the necessary skills before sending an application.Application Deadline: Until Filled The Opportunity Columbia-Greene Community College seeks a full-time Assistant Director of External Programs who reports to the Director of External Programs. The Assistant Director of External Programs supports the operational implementation and coordination of concurrent and dual enrollment programs, as well as external programs. The Assistant Director supports the Director in working with partner institutions and stakeholders in ensuring the smooth operation of all external programs, including, the College in the High School Program, the Higher Education in Prison Program, as well as other partnership-led enrollment and program initiatives. The Assistant Director is an important resource in the Enrollment Management Team, supporting events, special initiatives, and data management within the department. Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as deputy for the Director of External Programs.Work with an assigned caseload of partner sites to ensure the needs of stakeholders are addressed, reporting any issues or concerns to the Director.Liaise with Academic Coordinators in Correctional Facilities to ensure the timely exchange and input of enrollment-related paperwork.As needed, work within Correctional Facilities or other partner sites to ensure enrollment-related documentation is completed and inputted efficiently and effectively.Plan all events relevant to external programs, for example, commencement ceremonies in correctional facilities, recognition events for College in High School Students, or onboarding of new faculty in external programs.Work closely with on-campus stakeholders to ensure the operational needs of external programs are implemented effectively.Ensure academic program documentation (in conjunction with academic affairs) is coordinated and compiled, such as course syllabi, course assessments, and student evaluations.Utilize Banner, DegreeWorks, OnBase, and other campus systems to carry out necessary functions related to the administration of external programs.Serve on applicable College committees and attend relevant SUNY and New York State meetings, as necessary.Implement strategies for increasing and sustaining enrollment in external programs.Work closely with third-party partners, such as Hudson Link for Higher Education in Prison and site coordinators, as assigned by the Director.Work closely with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness to provide data necessary for external reporting program assessment, or other purposes.Support the Office of Enrollment Management in implementing the institution's Enrollment Management Strategy.Support the Office of Enrollment Management by attending enrollment-related events.Work within partner sites (especially correctional facilities), as needed, to complete enrollment-related documentation.Input data to ensure the timely and effective registration of all external program students.Coordinate information related to the institution's International Student Program.Act as a College Designated School Official (DSO) for Homeland Security.Provide support to the Director in the application and coordination of grants and funding relevant to the program.Work with the institution's business and finance processes to ensure equipment, purchases, and reconciliations are effectively completed.Supervise interns and student workers, as assigned.Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in an appropriate field such as higher education administration, school administration, student affairs, or business.Experience in providing operational support to programs.1-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education or a similar field. Salary and Benefits InformationAnnual 12-month salary range $58 -65K, dependent on qualifications and experience.
