This position is eligible for up to two days remote work per week

BASIC FUNCTION:

* This position is the lead for supporting graduate program enrollment through the development of content for website pages, program support materials, advertising creative, social media channels, and other creative strategies to communicate the value and impact of each program.

* A critical part of this work is to raise the visibility and name recognition of our graduate programs with the goal of driving enrollment leads for priority programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* This position will support the development of strategic initiatives and lead the execution of tactics, including copywriting, creative direction, audience targeting, and leveraging affinity groups and related corporate opportunities, along with regular tracking of campaign results.

* Be the day-to-day contact for managing digital marketing efforts, sharing the strategy, setting goals, monitoring performance and return on investment in collaboration with the enrollment management team.

* They will collaborate with content, pr and design marketing team members, enrollment management staff, graduate program directors, and outside vendors when needed.

* The ideal candidate will bring a creative mindset, and experience with implementing marketing, communications, and engagement best practices.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* This position will also oversee the strategy for the flagship Salve social media channels, and mentor and manage the social media manager on the marketing and communications team.

* Position requires organization and time management skills, ability to work independently and in collaboration, and be able to take leadership and initiative in areas of their distinctive expertise.

* This position will be a lead marketing contributor of the team and will work on additional priority projects of the team and university as needed.

* Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five years in marketing, communications, or social media related position.

* Experience creating, implementing, and tracking of marketing strategies and campaigns.

* Demonstrated ability to write effectively and effectively communicate with others across departments and offices.

* Able to think creatively to present information in new ways and formats to reach additional audiences.

* Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills involving the execution of multiple, simultaneous projects.

Preferred:

* Over 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media related position.

* Previous work in higher education or other complex industry.

* Experience simplifying complex language into simpler shorter copy for use in marketing campaigns.

* Knowledge of current digital marketing channels, including relevant social media platforms.

* Experience with Google Analytics reporting tools.

* Experience with Canva.

* Experience with Drupal webpage creation.

* Knowledge of AP Style.
