POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of the Staff Educator is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. The Staff Educator will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
