Job DescriptionJob Title: Assistant Director of Nursing We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department.
- Oversee the delivery of nursing services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with other department heads to coordinate patient care and achieve organizational goals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance evaluation processes.
- Conduct staff education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
- Handle administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Requirements:
- Current State RN license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care settings.
- Preferred 2 years of management experience.
- Preferred 1 year of staff education experience.
- Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision capabilities.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours as required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
