Under the supervision of our Assistant Director of Finance, the Purchasing Manager will generally be responsible for overseeing the purchasing function for the hotel and ensure meeting specified guidelines and policies. Additionally, the Purchasing Manager will work directly with the resort's vendors to receive all products ordered by the resort. This includes inspecting all goods and materials for quality and quantity against existing purchase orders, ensuring that proper quantities and dollar amounts are being billed, and delivering these products to the ordering department.   • 1 - 2 years previous hands-on experience in related field preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of hotel and procurement systems such as Birchstreet
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous hotel/resort lodging system experience a plus
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license
