Job Details The Assistant Director assists the director with the continuous responsibility and accountability for the delivery of mental health and/or chemical dependency programs and PHP including, but not limited to central intake and case management services. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Assistant Director is responsible for the direct/indirect care of adult mental health and chemical dependency population and for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu. Adheres to Mercy Medical Center/ department policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times. Responsibilities: Provides assistance and counseling to staff in meeting performance standards and goals, fosters independence, motivation, continued professional development and morale Ensures compliance to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Resolves staff problems and issues. Ensures proper staffing effectiveness. Ensures completion of and adherence to staffing schedules Qualifications; MSW/PhD in Social Work or Psychology from an appropriately accredited school. Minimum 5 years of prior relevant professional experience required. Prior mental health and/or chemical dependency supervisory experience preferred. May be gender specific and/or require administering/supervising alcohol/substance abuse testing New York State - LCSW or LMHC or a Psychologist CASAC is preferred Salary Range USD $92,336.00 - USD $115,408.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidates qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
