Responsibilities The Assistant Director of Physical Therapy aides the Director of Physical Therapy in the planning and supervision of Physical Therapy Department while also providing inpatient acute care PT services. Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the daily operations of the inpatient PT service.
- Mentoring of staff, including onboarding and performance appraisals.
- Serving as a clinical resource to other Rehab staff.
- Providing Physical Therapy inpatient services to cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary and medical-surgical patients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
- NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
- Strong communication skills
- At least 5 years of experience as a PT - 2 years of acute inpatient experience and 2 years of supervisory/administrative experience required.
- BLS certification
Pay Range USD $49.50 - USD $76.71 /Yr. Qualifications The pay for this position ranges from $ - per hour/per year. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
