GreenLeaf Productions is hiring for an Assistant Editor who knows Avid inside and out. This is a full-time position with benefits Mon- Fri located in the office in Bethlehem, PA. Remote work is not applicable. Applicants should have a strong understanding of composition/framing and be innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers. Organization is a must!Please provide a resume and demo reel with all applicable work to be considered.AE Responsibilities:- Assist Senior editors with ingesting, formatting and syncing of incoming raw footage.- Organize and maintain workflows.- Organizing footage on our system and LTO backup.- Researching and finding/editing Broll footage.- Source all broll and stock music options in our broll catalogue.- Create title graphics templates- Editing stringouts and inserting subtitles/GFX as needed.- Preparing and conforming sequences for various deliverables.AE Requirements:- Proficient in Avid (at least 3 years experience). Please do not apply if you have never worked in Avid before.- Ability to work on schedule and meet deadlines- Excellent communication skills and teamplayer. Willing to pitch in and assist with other duties outside AE roles.- Know export outputs and a variety of codecs.- Must be well versed in ingesting, transcoding, grouping, and syncing- Ability to troubleshoot on your ownBonus if you can help assist in another area at times such as creating GFX, Camera Op, Color Correcting etc. but not required.
