This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about event management to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Working closely with the Event Coordinator and other team members, the Assistant Event Coordinator will help manage logistics, coordinate vendors, and assist with on-site operations for various events ranging from conferences and workshops to social gatherings and corporate functions. Salary Range: $21.00 - $31.00 per hourJob: Full timeLocation: Philadelphia, PAResponsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events from start to finish.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and transportation arrangements.
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary services.
  • Prepare and distribute event materials, including invitations, programs, and signage.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management tools.
