- Assist in planning and organizing various events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Support the Event Coordinator in managing event budgets and expenses.
- Communicate with clients to understand their event needs and expectations.
- Conduct research to source potential venues and event suppliers that align with client requirements.
- Help create event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met throughout the planning process.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote events through social media, email newsletters, and other platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning or coordination, even in a volunteer capacity.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and vendor interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
