Job Description:
If you want international experience in the United States, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We are a multi-division US transportation. This is a remote position and the individual will be required to work US EST (New York).Our fleet is composed of ambulances, taxis, limousines, wheelchair vans, and school buses.We are looking for highly organized candidates with good quantitative ability for the position. You will be responsible for assisting in the recruitment of quality drivers into the fleet, maintaining detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency, among other duties. You will be working closely with Auto Mechanics in the company to ensure fleet operations run smoothly and our vehicles are maintained based on our organization's standards.
  • Vehicle Inspection and Management.
  • Oversee conduct of trainings for drivers.
  • Assist in the development of vehicle and equipment maintenance policies and procedures for internal, external, services.
  • Maintenance Report, Warranty and Outside Recall Report.
  • Develop strategies for greater fuel efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection.
  • Scheduling regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring strict servicing and maintenance times to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
  • Analyzing data to increase business operational efficiency.
  • Utilizing GPS systems to monitor drivers and track vehicles in case of theft.
  • Responsible for proper handling of requisitions, orders, receipt and storage of stock.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and communicate with concern departments regarding stocking, ordering and deliveries.
Requirements and skills
  • Technological literacy
  • A bachelor's degree in logistics is preferred.
  • Experience in the transportation, maintenance and logistics industry.
  • Proven work experience in a similar role.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail to ensure records are kept as needed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with various departments.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Fleet Manager.
Technical Skills
  • Computer literate with knowledge of IT based service software system.
  • Aware to read technical manuals & diagrams
  • Order parts for vehicles accurately and track inventory
  • Manage inspection forms and service programs for fleet
  • Procurement of vehicle equipment as well as shop equipment
Pay Range: Rs110,000 - Rs150,000 per month
