The Ministry of Health's Drug Programs Policy and Strategy Branch is looking for an individual who has strong analytical and communication skills to provide support in the preparation of Drug Benefit Formulary/Comparative Drug Index for publication.

What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will:
* calculate and verify drug price information for listing on the formulary
* code, enter and update data in a computerized data management system
* prepare analyses, summaries and statistical reports
* identify and address discrepancies
* respond to inquiries from the public and a range of contacts within the industry
* apply relevant national and provincial requirements/policies to daily work
How do I qualify?
Evaluative, Arithmetic and Analytical Skills
* ability to accurately record and interpret data
* analytical skills to detect data errors and resolve problems
* demonstrated experience performing arithmetic calculations
* research skills to compile information for staff and the supervisor
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
* oral communication skills to interact with staff, stakeholders and the public
* written communication skills to prepare reports, analyses, summaries and correspondence
* able to work in a team environment
* ability to tactfully handle difficult situations
Technical and Computer Knowledge
* ability to understand and apply the policies and procedures related to the Drug Benefit Formulary/Comparative Drug Index and Updates
* demonstrated knowledge in the areas of pharmaceuticals, pharmacy practice and drug formulary management
* demonstrated experience with computerized data management systems or applications
* demonstrated experience with word processing and spreadsheet software
