This is a great opportunity to join the supply chain (not the retails stores) organization that supports the largest retailer in the world as the #2 leader in a large Distribution Center. You will also be reporting directly to a GM whom we know well and who is a great leader and overall individual. From a distribution/supply chain opportunity, it doesn't get much better than this. And it is in the SE region with low cost of living!Here are some of the things you will do (please ask us for a more detailed position description):- Manage assigned financial aspects by monitoring and tracking expenses compared to budget; monitoring asset utilization; and preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports-Serve as a community liaison by participating in local and community organizations and charitable activities; champion company-sponsored programs and events to associates, customers, and the local community.-Supervise and manage associates and leaders in area of responsibility by giving direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback; identifying training and development needs and providing opportunities for learning and growth; teaching and supporting Logisticsand company policies and procedures; and participating in the hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation of associates throughout the facility.- Investigate and ensure associate, customer and supplier concerns are resolved, using own judgment or consulting others when needed.- Drive, develop, and implement the business plan for area of responsibility to achieve facility goals (such as, production, quality, safety) and implement operational improvements-Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation-Forecast and follow up on staffing, workload, and performance results to meet business demands for workload and performance results.Base could go a bit higher if you have the right background), 25% target bonus, $25K in annual restricted stock awards, strong relocation, and benefits.
