- Three or more years in varied restaurant positions, including cooking and supervisory experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience
- Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the operation with a particular focus on kitchen management
- Availability to work full time, 8-10 hour shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so
- Must be able to coach and develop others effectively
- ServSafe Food Manager, ChokeSaver, and Food Allergens Certification or equivalent, preferred
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment preferred
Assistant General Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Promoting the operation's success while demonstrating honesty and integrity
- Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory, purchasing, quality, and safety
- Developing team members to promote sales and improve profitability while ensuring high team member and guest satisfaction
- Attracting and developing a quality staff of A list players
- Impacting restaurant finances by promoting sales and controlling expenses with a primary focus on the back of the house
- Working in the kitchen, leading, training, teaching, and coaching culinary duties
- Working in the dining room, leading, training, teaching, and coaching while actively promoting hospitality excellence
- Assuming leadership responsibilities as a manager on duty
- Assuming leadership responsibilities during General Manager absences
- Working collaboratively with all team members
