This career opportunity is for individuals with a bona fide passion for food and beverage, and unwavering drive to provide exceptional guest service. Extensive front of house knowledge that displays high functioning leadership, labor management, cost control and conflict resolution is essential for the success of this leadership position. This person is also responsible for training, mentoring and coaching the team to consistently deliver a 5-Star experience to our employees, guests, and community. Pay: $75000 - $88000 / year plus bonus AGM responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Playing a key role in the restaurant's financial performance in accordance with all established guidelines and budgets.
- Leads the restaurant's risk management team in proactively addressing liability, risk, and compliance opportunities.
- Responsible for completing Performance Reviews and making recommendations for the promotion, hiring, and advancement of hourly team members.
- Responsible for reviewing all performance reviews and recommendations made by department heads.
- Responsible for overseeing and executing the training, managing, and developing all team members.
- Responsible for overseeing that the scheduling of all personnel meets the restaurants needs and is in alignment with the unit's forecasted labor and predetermined budget and ensures that each departments labor cost is maintained daily.
- Responsible for the restaurant adhering to all corporate guidelines to maintain operations, food quality and patron satisfaction.
- SAFETY
- Responsible for supervising inventory
- Supervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and arranges for repairs, contracts, and other services.
- Investigates and resolves food quality and service opportunities.
- Inspects dining areas, food receiving, and preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Oversee social media efforts in order to maintain brand awareness.
- Responsible for leading a team that can execute great food and service consistently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Minimum 6 years' experience in progressive restaurant management in a similar environment
- Strong P&L knowledge and budget management skills
- Prive Events experience is preferred
