  • Strategic Planning: Partner with department managers to develop staff schedules and assess departmental needs, including making recommendations to ensure we have the right resources to effectively meet those needs while staying in alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Client Focus: Collaborate with hospital leaders to address challenges and ensure we consistently meet client needs, delivering high-quality patient care. Conducts routine quality checks and reviews of client records and invoices.
  • Program Advancement: Work alongside the Hospital Director to drive continuous improvement in hospital programs, maximizing growth and revenue.
  • Change Management: Facilitate positive transformations within the hospital, guiding teams through changes and new initiatives.
  • Resourceful Support: Serve as a vital resource for all departments, providing information and assistance to enhance operations.
  • Policy Innovation: Collaborates in the development and implementation of hospital policies, including monitoring compliance with DEA controlled substance regulations and OSHA standards.
  • Tech Savvy Oversight: Monitor computer systems and equipment, collaborating with our IT team to swiftly resolve any technical issues, ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruption.
  • System Expertise: Stay up-to-date with all features and functionalities of Ezyvet and VetRadar, our hospital operating systems, to leverage their capabilities and optimize our workflows.

Drive Financial Success:
  • Payroll Management: Collaborate with the Hospital Director to oversee all aspects of the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Budget Planning: Participate in the financial oversight of revenue and expenses, contributing to budget planning that encompasses both short- and long-term goals.
  • Inventory Control: Support the inventory manager in maintaining effective controls and ensuring costs remain within budgetary limits.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Assist in the management of accounts receivable, focusing on reducing outstanding balances and improving cash flow.
Lead with Vision:
  • Change Champion: Actively identify, document, and promote best practices within the hospital, driving innovation and continuous improvement across all operations.
  • Regular Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with the Hospital Director, providing updates on departmental performance, initiatives, and challenges.
  • Strategic Development: Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans that drive hospital growth and sustainability, ensuring we are always moving forward.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine department structures, processes, and workflows
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Propel decision-making processes by delivering insightful, data-driven recommendations to the Hospital Director, ensuring informed and strategic choices.
  • Event Support: Provide assistance with special events as needed, contributing to initiatives that showcase our hospitals dedication to excellence and community engagement.
Qualifications
  • Veterinary experience is ideal, other experience will be reviewed
  • A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 2 or more years with direct experience leading, managing, and mentoring individuals and large teams.
  • 2 or more years' experience with PL management. Providing oversight of labor and expenses.
  • Highly proficient technology and computer skills and the ability to read, interpret and analyze complex performance metrics and use data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to prioritize time with flexibility based on the needs of the hospital. Maybe required to work varying hours to meet and observe hospital team and operations since the hospital is open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.

  • Proficient in championing change and driving innovation programs within the hospital, particularly those initiatives initiated by Ethos and Hospital Director.
  • Experienced in coaching, guiding, and motivating employees to reach their full potential.
