Job Description
Our practice is growing, and we are looking for a full-time office manager with previous experience in the veterinary field. No overnights, limited weekends. We practice high-quality medicine as part of a team that emphasizes patient comfort and client communication.
We are moving our current location to a larger facility that offers our team the ability to see more patients; seeing more patients requires a larger team and more support for the transition. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic with compassion for pets and people, someone who maintains a professional appearance, communicates well, and has the ability to merge with our amazing team.
The primary purpose of this position:
To support the growing needs of the practice manager and improve the communication and training of our support staff.
Responsibilities include:
Increasing team morale by offering consistent leadership and availability to support staff. Regulating protocols and procedures; offering direction when needed. Supervising room flow, to expedite client visits. Offering positive team support and solutions when handling client and team issues, Social media management, new hire training with support for further direction and development. Processing bi-weekly payroll as needed and leading bi-monthly briefings with lead receptionist and practice manager. The office manager will serve as a liaison between the practice manager and the support staff personnel. This position requires a full understanding of confidentiality, respect and empathy.
Requirements: 1-2 years of previous veterinary and management experience.
