Responsibilities include, but not limited to, venue rental sales, event planning and management, event coverage and oversight, venue event scheduling, and managing the daily activities required to run and maintain the venue. This is accomplished by providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients, patrons, and artists. This position works within a team environment but will also work independently, often while delivering on tight deadlines. The typical work schedule includes day hours as well as many nights, weekends, and some holidays/college breaks. The Assistant Manager, Arena Events and Operations is required to have a reasonable understanding of event and production timelines, logistics, and best industry practices. Given the flexible nature of the Arena, this position will be responsible for other duties as assigned by the Director/General Manager. This position will require work performed regularly on campus.
