Summary The Assistant Manager, Business Development is mainly responsible for developing and implementing quantitative marketing strategies in order to attract prospective customers. Bilingual - Advanced English/Korean highly preferred, but not required. Responsibilities
- Hyundai Business Development
- Evaluate current inland & ocean routes and TMS (Transporation Management System) to identify strategic opportunities that benefit both Hyundai Motor Group and its partners
- Conduct feasibility analyses on business opportunities that align with Hyundai Motor Company's strategic direction
- Collaborate with partners, various HMC/Glovis teams, and external carriers/consultants to gather/analyze relevant data
- Develop mid- to long-term financial forecasts and operational plans
- Work closely and proactively with senior team members to manage projects effectively
- Hydrogen Business Development
- Support the implementation of hydrogen logistics initiatives in the North American region
- Conduct feasibility analyses for business expansion opportunities, including financial forecasting and operational planning
- Analyze mid-long term expansion plan by setting up business planning and report to HQ to get approval on additional equity investment
- Industry Trend Research & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research on inland/Ocean transportation industry trends, identifying on long-term business opportunities
- Present summary of data and trends periodically through research, collection, and analysis of the latest market research
- Special Projects
- Conduct ad hoc projects as requested by top management

- Experience in logistics/transportation industries required
- Experience in financial analysis and business planning preferred

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
- 6 - 9 Years of Direct Experience required in Business Planning, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain/Freight Forwarding
- 7 - 11 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
- 1 - 3 Years of Supervisory Experience Required
