The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistance Finance Manager.

The Assistant Finance Manager will take the Facilities Management data, such as occupancy levels etc and help convert that to financial information, such as budgets, develop business cases etc for Corporate Real Estate can make informed decision based on finances. You will link between finance and operations in creating the conduit between the two functions. You will work across all Corporate Real Estate, so looking at capital spend, project spend and operations.

You will also have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in financial software and Excel are also essential for this role.

Main Responsibilities

Manages purchase ledger/intercompany ledgers and setting up payments for international entities.

Manages and submits payments on banking portals such as JPM including supplier and payroll transactions.

Supports project teams with raising external sales invoices to clients and managing sales ledger for international entities.

Manages bank reconciliations and treasury support.

Provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis supporting finance business partners.

Manages loan interest invoices between consult entities.

Assists and supports the quarterly comms session including the planning of PowerPoint slides.

Assists in maintenance of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers in the accounting system.

Collaborates with external accounting companies like Baker Tilly to support with financials.

Proposes improvements that will increase accuracy and efficiency in the finance processes.

Carries out ad hoc finance projects, supports finance business partners with month end.

Provides Guidance & coaching to more junior roles.

Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Collaborates well with internal and external stakeholders, building trusting and respectful relationships.

Can demonstrate clear, concise written and verbal communication.

Works in a systematic, methodical and orderly way as well as being inquisitive and seek opportunities to learn and share knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have:

Accounting qualifications including ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent).

Strong IT skills including experience in managing financial and accounting systems.

Basic understanding of the budgeting, planning and forecasting.

Basic knowledge and experience in management reporting and analysis.

Knowledge of Oracle.

Ability to provide actionable insight and recommendation to business counterparts

Basic knowledge of the construction industry.
