THE JOB:
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for daily operations of the restaurant. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
* Scheduling & Time Off: Review staff schedules, handle time-off and vacation requests, and provide coaching and training on work policies, procedures, and performance.
* Cashier Supervision: Oversee cashiers to ensure they follow proper procedures for handling payments and closing checks. Manage restaurant operations to comply with health and safety regulations.
* Collaboration with Chef: Communicate directly with the Chef about any food service or menu concerns.
* Menu Planning: Help with updating seasonal menus and planning special holiday menus.
* Supply Ordering: Order supplies through the company's purchasing system.
* Cost Management: Keep an eye on costs for all parts of the restaurant's operations.
* Pricing & Maintenance: Ensure correct pricing and fix any issues so payments can be processed smoothly.
* Guest Communication: Handle special requests and reservations for large groups.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* Highschool Diploma, GED or equivalent
* 2 years of experience of prior relevant experience in Service and High Volume food and beverage.
* Experience managing FOH employees under a collective bargaining agreement
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Experience working in a high volume restaurant or previous experience working in fine dining, quick service restaurant
* Experience working with multiple Food and Beverage concepts

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum - Maximum
$47,165.76 - $75,465.01
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
