What You DoWhat You DoManage standardized investigation practices and projects that relate to investigations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop Specialists to conduct investigations and collaborate with other HR areas and Production Manufacturing to problem solve Key Performance Indicators.As a part of the above, and on an ongoing basis will also:
- Manage Investigations team to address behavior and improve culture at MTM. Establish strong Investigations team and provide support for people development, coaching, and mentoring with a focus on teamwork, collaboration and inclusion.
- Establish department KPIs and systems to track and visualize results
- Support the Human Resource Department's Floor Management Systems objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), follow-up with management and team members on open items, meet with team members on overall job satisfaction, investigate and respond to Your Voice calls, Investigations, counsel group leaders or team members on questions, problem-solve top issues and address allegations of policy violations
- Ensure consistent policy implementation
- Offer problem resolution assistance
- Build relationships with team members
- Partner with section management
- Ability to work on both day and night shift
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the department
- Be available to work outside of normal work schedule, including but not limited to weekends, holidays, shutdowns, and travel as needed (domestically and internationally)
What You Bring- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years' supervisory experience in an equivalent role or internal demonstrated experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing culture and knowledgeable of policies and procedures implementation
- Demonstrates a high degree of trust, critical thinking and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Ability to work overtime and travel as needed.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
What Will Set You Apart- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years' HR experience in team member relations or Employee Investigations preferably in automotive manufacturing
