**Overview:**

The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Community Manager in all day-to-day property operations of the community. In the absence of the Community Manager, the Assistant Manager will assume their responsibilities.

**Responsibilities:**

Assist in managing resident relations by implementing retention strategies, monitoring quality supplier selection, and participating in community and marketing outreach

Ensure excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and promote an exceptional living experience

Assist in the training, mentoring and supervision of property staff in administering company policies and key internal processes.

Maintain budgeted occupancy levels, rental rates, and other property goals such as delinquency collections

Ensure all delinquency rents are followed up on to maximize collection and process all move outs and charges accordingly

Perform property inspections and practice emergency plans

Ensure that all property operations are compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly property reports

**Qualifications:**

Three plus years of multifamily property management experience

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent customer service and communication

A current, valid drivers license is required

Experience in Entrata a plus
