Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager works collaboratively with the Consumer Services Manager to provide branch leadership and deliver superior customer service. The position will be responsible for assisting with the direction and administration of branch operations. and ensures established policies and procedures are followed with an emphasis on audit controls. The Assistant Manager trains, directs, and assists in supervising branch staff and oversees and assists clients with a full range of bank products and services. This position must be able to work every other Saturday morning and be flexible regarding hours.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

* Assists in the supervision of Branch Operations, Audit, and Security standards

* Completes Performance Reviews, Touchpoints, Crucial Conversations, and Employee Development with Direct Reports

* Hires, trains, and schedules staff to maintain service standards

* Manages a client portfolio that contributes to the growth of the Branch while building and maintaining relationships

* Processes loan applications and assists branch staff with loan processes & recommendations while building their skill set

* Operates a teller cash drawer and covers teller line when needed

* Provides exceptional service to clients and follows up on any service issues

* Supports the Bank's initiatives, such as the employee engagement process, to promote a team environment where employees are encouraged and supported

* Participates in the Bank's internal committees to strengthen inter-bank relationships and develop partnerships with business partners

* Utilizes and tracks sales and opportunities in CRM

* Participates in community and chamber activities to show the Bank's commitment

* Performs other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

* At least two years of retail branch experience required

* At least two years of experience in lending required

* At least one year of supervisory experience preferred

* Signature Medallion certification obtained within 90 days required

* Notary Public certification obtained within 30 days required

* Active community involvement preferred

* NMLS upon hire is required

* Keen understanding of digital banking

* Ability to effectively use electronic resources

* Proven experience as a sales leader or team leader

* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

* Ability to interact effectively with clients and internal departments

* An adaptable and an organized multi-tasker that thrives in a fast pace, changing work environment

* Ability to work flexible hours, including some evening hours for meetings

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $65,000 - $77,000
