Assistant Manager - New Town Branch

1st Advantage Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a full time Assistant Manager to support our New Town Branch. Scheduled hours will be 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
This Assistant Manager is responsible for providing service to Members in the branch as well as ensure that day to day operations are running efficiently. Support and ensure scorecard and Real-time coaching is conducted with every Colleague on a monthly basis. Responsible for achieving and exceeding five key objectives: sales, retention, revenue growth, member contacts and member satisfaction.

Assistant Manager Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
* Branch Leader. Coaching Colleagues around the 1A Way, REAL process, and Member experience related skills.
* Manages the top level of Member relationships by consulting, recommending, and closing products and services. Ensures sales, revenue, and retention goals are met for their branch.
* Provides supervision and leadership to all branch colleagues to include writing performance appraisals and writing and delivering disciplinary actions in a timely manner.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
* To coach a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet daily branch responsibilities.
* To maintain a thorough knowledge of and consistently adhere to credit union policies and procedures.
* To model all behaviors and duties expected of immediate direct reports.
* To promote partnership between branch Colleagues and other lines of business with 1A.
* To take ownership of any Member or Colleague problems/issues until complete.
* Ability to delegate certain tasks to direct reports and to be organized and efficient with your time.
* To consistently achieve a minimum of 85% of your individual scorecard goals.
* To achieve a minimum of 85% of all assigned branch goals.
* To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance and ensure that 1A Image Standards are adhered to in the workplace.
* Oversee the mentoring of new colleagues to ensure that they receive the training and support that is required for new colleagues.
Qualifications:
Experience Minimum of one year of management or supervisor experience. Minimum of three years of related experience in a full-service financial institution.
Education College degree in finance, accounting, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills Ability to plan, organize and direct branch activities and staff. Understanding of ACH, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Individual Retirement Accounts, Mortgages, and other products. Knowledge of Credit Union's information systems and underwriting guidelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient skills with MS Office Suite products to include Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Maintain an active notary public status and register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing Act as required by the SAFE Act and maintain licensing requirements.

Average Visual Abilities - Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products or operate machinery.
Physical Strength - Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 25lbs. of force occasionally (Almost all office jobs).
