Assistant ManagerGeneral Job Description & ResponsibilitiesAre you an experience Optician looking to take the next step in your optical career? If you have previous experience training new staff members, are curious about back-of-house duties, and have a proven track record for excellent customer service and sales experience, this could be the job for you! Primary responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations of the practice, including:- opening and closing- patient scheduling- patient/client relations- quality assurance- optical sales- mentoring and coaching others- guiding team to ensure excellent customer service and employee performance- serving as a role modelExperience & SkillsExcellent customer service skills and personal presentation are also critical to this role.You will work closely with the manager to ensure smooth practice processes, select eyewear, troubleshoot patient/client issues, and fit lenses.
