Rockefeller Outpatient Pavilion 160 East 53 rd, in Manhattan, will provide a dynamic outpatient setting for leading-edge cancer treatments.
**You will:**
* Managing all operations in assigned job groups including distribution, loading dock, mailroom, linen, procurement and associated outside vendors.
* Identifying, developing and implementing processes to ensure efficiency within assigned job
* Collaborate with site management teams to ensure needs are being met.
* Ensure that assignments are crafted to meet departmental standards.
* Managing and forecasts workloads; recommends changes to assignments and/or staffing levels to best achieve required outcomes.
* Provide technical and non-technical mentorship to staff to ensure that work assignments are being done efficiently and by following the best possible procedures.
* Prepare schedules to ensure that routine and non-routine activities are accurately prioritized and fairly delegated to staff members.
* Managing all activities to ensure compliance with departmental and Center policies as well as outside regulatory agencies. Makes certain that all required documentation is maintained.
* Supervise and guides the functions and activities of assigned job groups.
* Evaluate performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions of assigned job groups.
* Managing the hiring, orientation and training of assigned job groups.
* Managing daily activities of staff, ensuring job duties are being completed accurately, thoroughly and within specified time frames.
* Provide ongoing individual feedback to staff on performance strengths and areas in need of improvement; recognizes accomplishments, improvements in performance and innovative ideas.
**You need:**
* 4-6 years of relevant Materials Management/Healthcare experience
* Supervisory experience (10-15 direct reports or more) strongly preferred
* Strong communication, both written and verbal
* Good solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications
**Schedule:**
Monday - Friday, 8AM to 4PM. Some weekends. Must be flexible.
