OVERVIEW OF POSITION:

Earthbound LLC is growing our People Operations team and searching for a well rounded Assistant Manager, People. Reporting into the Director of People, this position would support all areas of the function including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Onboarding, Training and Development, and as an HR business partner for a dynamic and growing organization.

The ideal candidate is extremely organized with excellent communication skills and has a learning mindset with a high level of curiosity.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Outlined below are the key areas of ownership, but there is unlimited potential for the right candidate to grow and take on more areas of ownership.

* Support the Talent Acquisition Process:

+ Posting jobs

+ Screening resumes

+ Scheduling interviews

+ Uploading candidates and keeping our systems up to date

+ Communicating with candidate throughout the interview process

+ Coordinating feedback

+ Drafting Offer Letters

+ Managing Background check process

* Manage referral process

* Manage small requisition load, with potential to take on more with time

* Sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and conducting initial phone screen

* Building strategic pipelines for anticipated roles

* Building relationships with relevant school partners

* Onboarding and Offboarding Support

+ I-9 process

+ Working with IT and team to ensure equipment is set up

+ Working with teams to prepare space for first day

+ Partner with internal teams on orientation and new hire welcome

* Support in other areas of People Function

+ Maintaining Up to date Org Charts

+ Ensuring our HR system contains up to date information and working with employees to update their profiles

+ Support in training preparation and delivery

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Must be a strong communicator both verbally and in writing.

* Must have a strong action orientation and drive for results to be successful in a changing, dynamic environment.

* Able to propose organizational solutions to business problems while balancing the impact to the employee, cost and disruption to the business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum 1 year of experience in Talent Acquisition

* Experience in additional area of HR a plus (ex. Generalist, Learning, Talent Development)

* Great interpersonal and communications skills. Excellent organizational skills.

* Knowledge of various recruitment and sourcing techniques (ex. Boolean search) strongly preferred
