The Opportunity:

The Training and Events Executive will play an integral role in the Niche Education team. They will report to the Education Managers and support the overall growth of the Niche portfolio of brands; Christian Louboutin Beauty, Penhaligon's, L'Artisan Parfumeur and Dries Van Noten. The Training and Events Executive will contribute to driving brand awareness and maximizing productivity by executing engaging events, delivering inspirational brand trainings, and developing brand associates at point of sale. The ideal candidate is an experienced facilitator, has a passion for fragrances and make-up, a positive, solution-oriented attitude, prefers detailed-oriented work and thrives in the retail environment. Extreme organization, self-motivation and engaging public speaking abilities are critical.

What you'll get to do:

Training and Events:

  • Facilitates trainings and events in retail environments across United States and Canada either independently or in partnership with field and education team
  • Partners with Education Manager and Senior Manager to develop digital and non-digital educational content
  • Supports Education Managers in the creation and adaptation of revenue-driving event concepts that align with brand objectives and support market growth
  • Leads client facing events and masterclasses in fragrance and beauty, with elevated expertise in luxury perfume
  • Aligns with Sales team to schedule local training programs that support education strategy and meet financial objectives
  • Coordinates comprehensive logistics for in-store training presentations including arranging catering, and delivery of testers, facilitation materials, and gratis
  • Evaluates special events and reports recommendations/issues to direct manager
  • Researches and prepares cost comparison and analysis for major travel expenses
  • Leads by example, offering best in class service at point of sale, inspiring and motivating store associates
  • Conducts new hire onboarding and ongoing education at counter (side by side coaching)
  • Champions brand identity and consistency in selling ceremony and service expectations
  • Evaluates Brand Ambassador performance and supports growth and development through coaching

Support:

  • Supports Education Manager and Senior Manager with administrative needs in Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for ongoing education programs; including Seminar execution, launch strategies, seasonal and new door trainings, and new hire on-boarding
  • Supports ordering, allocation, tracking and availability of products, gifts, collaterals, samples, and equipment
  • Maintains travel and expense budget and prepares expense reports
  • Maintains field training budget and training materials inventory
  • Maintains comprehensive tracking and communication on all education materials relating to product knowledge, sales techniques, service ceremony, and policies

We'd love to meet you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of training or facilitating experience
  • Strong knowledge of makeup and fragrance products, application techniques, and industry trends
  • Experience in creating video tutorials and social media style content
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate a diverse audience
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A collaborative and can-do attitude, integrity, accountability, vision, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with online training platforms
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time (domestic and international) or more, depending on the season

Compensation:

As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000.00 - $95,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
