****The Role:****

**The Assistant Manager for the Transitional Residential Program supports the Program Manager in all day-to-day operations of the residential treatment program. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the management staff in expense and quality management. The Assistant Manager s is a key leader in setting and achieving primary goals that assure safe and efficient operations. As Assistant Manager she/he is responsible for managing and monitoring administrative, fiscal, materials, food service, and all aspects of residential safety and security systems. This position supports a positive environment of care for all persons served. The Assistant Manager assures a clean, hazard free, supportive, and effective therapeutic treatment environment to promote the effective delivery of clinical services and environmental management. The Assistant Manager will be required to work directly with clients as scheduled, and as back up staff during crisis, vacancies, absenteeism, and vacation coverage.We are looking to fill this role with a dedicated team player that is genuinely invested in serving our population, developing outstanding professionals, and is committed to making a difference each and every day.**

****What we're looking for:****

** Associates degree or equivalent qualifications and experience in direct client services and support (5 years) Experience working with behaviorally challenging adults, knowledge of disabilities, and mental health disorders Experience in fiscal management, facilities, and construction, worked in a managerial capacity Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while keeping program and client needs in mind Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, understands the necessity of reliable feed-back loops and communication with Manager and Director, (Teams, Agencies, Constituents) Ability to utilize technology (train DSPs) provided to perform requirements of the job Possess strong desire to communicate and relate to staff and clients, keeping disabilities and diversity in mind Knowledge of record keeping and HIPAA Understanding of fiscal management, sustainability, and cost savings programs**
