Juniata is a co-educational, liberal arts college and highly regarded for its academic excellence. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; assisting the Head Coach with all facets of the program, on field coaching and instruction, strong communications skills (email, phone, text), strong organizational skills, practice planning, film and scouting reports, the recruitment of qualified student-athletes, ability to travel for recruiting, academic monitoring, and the organization of prospect days. Collateral responsibilities in support of the Athletics Department will also be included. - Bachelor's Degree
- Valid driver's license, clear of major violations
- Playing experience at the collegiate level
- Strong communication skills and ability to recruit student athletes successfully is imperative
- Knowledge of and adherence to Juniata College, NCAA Division III and Landmark Conference rules and regulations
This is a 12 month position that includes a monthly stipend, room, board and full benefits.Supervision Required/Given This position reports to the Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse.Preferred QualificationsPhysical Demands Ability to demonstrate, assist with, conduct sport specific drills and fundamentals.
