The Assistant Merchandise Manager for Florist Designed, Fruit Bouquets and Shari s Berries is responsible for supporting the Sr. Merchandise Manager in the overall performance of product lines across various platforms which include driving product revenue, gross margin, average order value, conversion, increased purchase frequency, brand affinity, innovation and strategy while considering cross-functional goals and priorities.
This person will be responsible for supporting the Merchant team in their daily activities: managing and maintaining the assortment line list, creating, running, and analyzing reports, assisting in product set up, proof reading product copy, executing price changes as well as other administrative duties. The ideal candidate is extremely detailed oriented, highly motivated and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in driving the Merchandising process end-to-end with a focus on revenue, gross margin, conversion, average order size, turn, customer retention and acquisition
- Ensure products are merchandised correctly on the web, mobile and tablet platforms, and all e-commerce channels, i.e. e-mail, display, partner collections along with any direct mail collateral and phone.
- Fully understand the competitive marketplace from a product, price and web merchandising perspective for floral categories
- Assist in developing the Assortment Plans and partner cross-functionally to ensure the proper levels of development and innovation are being achieved to maximize sales and margin.
- Reporting pull data, format worksheets, analyze date and report on business results, provide insights and recommendations.
- Provide support with daily activities assist in setting up products, proofreading copy, executing price changes
- Provide administrative support where needed.
- Primary role will be to support the Florist Designed, Fruit Bouquet and Shari s Berries category needs and support other Merchant categories where bandwidth allows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree with concentration in Business Administration, Merchandising or Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in buying, planning or web retail merchandising experience a plus.
- Experience working with buying and planning organizations while managing merchandising for an online retailer.
- Excellent time management skills and strong sense of urgency, with ability to multitask and work autonomously.

The expected pay range for this position is $28.85/hour - $31.25/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
