ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Office Manager, you'll play a vital role in our daily operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the Office Manager with financial data processing and generation for all dealership departments.
  • Assisting in accurate financial reporting to the dealer/general manager.
  • Helping to manage accounting office and administrative functions.
  • Training and supervising office personnel.
  • Organizing office operations and procedures.
  • Preparing daily bank deposits and cash reports.
  • Managing petty cash and forecasting cash needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Assisting in payroll preparation and maintenance of payroll records.
  • Handling tax reports, deposits, and returns.
  • Keeping updated with factory incentives and accurately coding deliveries.
  • Cross-training to ensure seamless operation.
Qualifications
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere and encourage strong relationships with customers, coworkers, and other dealerships.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under Fremont's insurance plan.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Proven organizational, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
