Here are some highlights of what Synagro has to offer:15 days paid time off10 HolidaysMedical/Dental/Vision (within 30 days of hire)Health Saving Account (HSA) with company matchFlexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) with company match (fully vested upon hire)Career growth and promotional opportunitiesTuition ReimbursementESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the management of the day-to-day transportation and disposal operations of the Northeast Region.Support Contract management and contract compliance for existing and new merchant customers, vendors and sub-contractors.Assist with the development and review of daily customer dispatch schedules, working closely with Transportation Manager, Plant Managers, Sales Managers and customers to ensure incoming material is appropriately distributed between the facilities.Adapting dispatch schedules according to changes in customer needs.Analyze data/trends to explain offsite disposal and transportation cost drivers and provide and forecast commentary regarding performance.Assist in establishing and maintaining the transportation network.Assist in establishing, promoting and maintaining customer relationships.Interacts with Area Directors, Sales/Operations Managers, and company personnel to provide transportation service to meet our corporate goals, solve issues, and create a team concept in daily activities.Optimize the utilization of hauling and disposal network in a dynamic environment.Assist with oversite of equipment repair and maintenance and the cost control associated with it as needed.Attend tradeshows and networking events to promote customer relations pertains to assigned events.10% travel to non-Synagro sites required.Assist with analytical testing compliance for incineration facilities.Analyze distribution costs between facilities for most effective available backup options.Develop and manage transportation RFPs as needed.KEY SUCCESS FACTORS:Thorough understanding of field operations.Ability to anticipate transportation needs modifying dispatch requirements as needed.Prepare daily dispatch schedules to accommodate customer requirements with facility capacity.Assist with all maintenance/repairs monthly financials.Coordinate logistics for multiple sites in conjunction with Operations team.Communicate effectively to all levels of the company.Energetic and dedicated.Ability to manage dynamics and changing logistics.Occasional availability after hours and weekends.Ability to work from home and Synagro facilities.COMPETENCIES:Customer FocusAction & Results OrientedBusiness AcumenComfort Around Higher ManagementEmbrace and Demonstrate Synagro's Ethics and ValuesFlexibilityApproachabilityOrganizational AgilityUnderstands the cultures of organizations.Time Management - Values time, uses his/her time effectively and efficientlyQUALIFICATIONS:Advanced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint - Data analysis will include data entry requirements.Knowledge of transportation and OSHA regulations.College degree (Transportation, Operations Management, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.Experience in high volume, growth-oriented organization.10+ years of experience in the transportation industry working with biosolids, waste or construction carriers a plus.Travel to other work sites.#J-18808-Ljbffr
