  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Business Management preferred and five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required; must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with medium/heavy duty trucks required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred
  • Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Work with all parts department personnel to develop parts sales through the effective use of all available resources, marketing materials, etc.
  • Coordination/implementation of dealership training programs
  • Updates CRM system to track business opportunities and assess success ratios
  • Assist with implementing Hunter dealership policies and procedures
  • Represents parts department at safety meetings/ensures department compliance with safety/OSHA regulations.
  • Develops/assists in maintaining proper merchandising displays
  • Develops, with the Parts Manager, a training and succession plan for the department
  • Assists in preparing and administering the annual operating budget for the parts department
  • Maintains accurate vehicle / major asset maintenance files to ensure maximum ROA
  • Works with Parts Manager to accomplish assigned goals
  • Attends manager meetings as required
  • Assist Parts Manager in AOR development via research, customer visits, trade shows, etc.
  • Maintains a professional appearance
  • Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention as directed
  • Inspect facilities, operations, equipment, and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions and adhere to the law.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures
  • Adhere to and promote all existing health and safety policies in the workplace to reinforce the Hunter culture of a safe work environment
