Under the supervision of the Payroll Manager, the incumbent oversees and ensures efficient performance of the Payroll Department. High school diploma or GED plus two (2) to four (4) years of lead or supervisory experience in payroll processing using computerized software such as UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management or an equivalent combination of experience in a lead or supervisory role in a related field including payroll, financial operations and human resources. Provides training and guidance to less experienced co-workers. Must possess ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide by fractions, whole numbers and decimals, calculate interest, commission and percentages as they apply to job functions. Ability to comprehend written or verbal basic instructions. Must possess excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate record maintenance. Ability to use basic computer Microsoft Office Applications; Must be proficient with department-specific computer programs. UKG experience required. Must be able to process a payroll in its entirety including but not limited to producing paychecks, wire transfers, balancing of taxes.
