Job Summary Lynwood Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Principal for Lynwood High School. Under the direction of the High School Principal, the Assistant Principal will serve as a co-administrator, assisting in both the educational and administrative leadership of the school. This role involves managing school operations, supporting staff, fostering student success, and taking on leadership responsibilities in the Principal's absence. Requirements / Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Valid California Administrative Services Credential. •Master's Degree from an accredited institution. •Minimum of five years of full-time teaching experience. •At least two years of experience in a non-classroom leadership role (e.g., Teacher on Special Assignment). •Strong knowledge of school laws, district policies, and student disciplinary procedures. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Experience working at the high school level. •Bilingual in Spanish (preferred). •Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. •Knowledge of secondary education programs, effective teaching practices, and assessment strategies. •Knowledge of special education programs and supports. •Ability to develop and manage school budgets and categorical funding.
