The Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine.
Teaching responsibilities may include training resident and fellows in addition to precepting medical students and other trainees in the field of Sleep Medicine. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
Clinical responsibilities may include performing comprehensive evaluations and management of patients with sleep disorders; interpreting polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency test, and home sleep apnea test; attending in the sleep disorders clinic and sleep telemedicine program. Clinical responsibilities will be at the primary outpatient site of the Sleep Division at the University of Pennsylvania as well as one of the suburban sites.
