Position Title: Assistant Professor of FinanceStatus: Tenure TrackOverviewSt. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students each year. The University's residential campus boasts a robust living and learning community.Job ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance for our AACSB accredited business school in Rochester, NY with an anticipated August 2025 start date. Faculty are expected to be actively engaged with research in their respective fields of study and provide unique benefits to their students.Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate finance courses in investments, derivative securities, fixed income securities, fin-tech, and corporate finance.Conduct and publish original, discipline-based scholarship in refereed journals.Maintain an active research agenda.Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, advising and mentoring them.Participate in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.Introduce new teaching techniques and engage students through interactive methods.Collaborate with faculty, staff, and alumni to promote the mission of the School of Business.Provide service to the Department, School, and University.Assist with student recruitment and retention initiatives.Education / ExperienceRequired:A terminal degree in finance or related field from an accredited institution.
