The College of Arts and Sciences at Doane University invites applications for a full-time tenure faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the Health and Human Performance Department (HHP).
Doane University includes campuses in Crete, Lincoln, and Omaha, Nebraska as well as online, this position is based on the Crete campus and is an in-person academic/teaching role. The successful candidate will teach a combination of courses in the areas of nutrition, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, and exercise science.

Minimum Required Qualifications
* Candidates should have a graduate degree in Exercise Science, Strength, and Conditioning, Nutrition, Biomechanics, or Kinesiology.
* Demonstrate a commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts setting
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge in nutrition
* Preference will be given to those with experience in teaching and developing courses.
* Experience working with diverse populations and the skills to initiate and establish community and local contacts, foster relationships with relevant graduate programs, educate students about careers, and engage students in internship, research, and/or service learning.
Required Licenses/Certifications
* First Aid and CPR Certification for the Professional Rescuer through the Red Cross or American Heart Association equivalent
* CSCS certification through the NSCA
