The Department of Business Administration in the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in Management (Strategy/Business Policy/Entrepreneurship).
Job Duties
The School of Business and Management is AACSB accredited and housed in a beautiful new building with state of the art technology a Capital Markets Lab, Marketing Lab, FinTech Center, as well as, have growing programs that engage students and the local/business community. The School of Business and Management faculty are research-active.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will teach courses in Management, Strategy, Organizational Behavior, Business Policy and Entrepreneurship.
* The faculty member is also expected to maintain a consistent publication record in premier scholarly journals, conduct student advising and provide department, school and university service.
* Experience in online teaching platforms is desirable.
* Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other Characteristics
Must maintain a consistent publication record in Premier Scholarly Journals, demonstrate teaching competence as well as provide departmental, college, and university service. Additional MBA background in Business as well as experience in online teaching and grant writing are desirable. Candidates must provide evidence of teaching competence and have potential for excellence in Scholarly research.
Required Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
The successful candidate must have a PhD in Management or another related field from an AACSB accredited institution.
