We seek a dynamic full-time faculty member with an emerging and visible record of contributions to the field of music education through scholarly accomplishments, excellent teaching, and professional service.Job Summary/Basic Function:We recruit a colleague whose work bridges theory and practice and who shows a clear and productive publication pathway. The candidate should have successful experience in prek-12 settings and teaching at tertiary level. The candidate should have knowledge of and experience in music teacher preparation, certification, and professional development within the field. An explicit commitment to diversity and to advancing understandings and outcomes for historically marginalized groups is desired. An interest in and dedication to community work and local contexts, as well as creative and learner-centered approaches are highly desirable. Responsibilities:The successful candidate will teach two courses per semester and carry a typical advising load.
