This is a nine-month, full-time appointment.Responsibilities:
  • Teach in our NASPAA-Accredited Master of Public Administration (MPA) program and our online M.S. in Administration (MSA) Program.
  • Ability to teach in the areas of undergraduate statistical reasoning and/or politics and administration of state and local government.
  • Maintain the expected workload of six courses per academic year, with potential releases for service or research productivity.
  • Possess a commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring within the context of a strong liberal arts program.
  • Share in the work of a vibrant department and apply his or her professional expertise in the service of the university, community and discipline.
Required Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in public administration, public affairs, or a related field from a NASPAA Accredited Program on the date of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in nonprofit management, organizational management and/or public policy
