Candidates must hold a PhD in Real Estate, Economics, or closely related discipline by the noted employment start date.

Position Summary

The Department of Insurance, Legal Studies and Real Estate in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Real Estate at the Assistant Professor level as part of the 2024-2025 President's Strategic Faculty Hiring Initiative Expansion. The position will begin fall semester of 2025, with an anticipated employment start date of August 1, 2025.

Additional Requirements

Appointment at the assistant professor rank requires a demonstrated potential to publish rigorous research in premier peer-reviewed journals and demonstrated success in teaching. Assistant candidates requesting service credit should have a record of publishing in premier journals commensurate with rank and demonstrated excellence in teaching. Candidates must demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching and high-quality research in real estate related areas and possess strong communication skills
